During Expo Milano 2015, Chelini attends the event as an official partner of Monaco Pavilion, furnishing the VIP Lounge area. The Florentine company, known for the wood craftsmanship and a style of iconic elegance, devoted to this new project by engaging a careful exercise in style to break out of its own patterns. It is inspired by everything that Monaco represents in its unconscious, and it carefully studies its visual identity.
Bringing back to the top the Monaco of the 50’, the walks along the Croisette, the typical boats which filled the French Riviera, Chelini begins to explore worlds, concepts and styles that more than anything else have denoted – and identify today – Monaco.
The result is a collection with a strong retro-inspiration, with a design made of regular and squared forms, where the warm shades of mahogany at the base of the structure is set against a glowing and brilliant turquoise. The allure Chelini therefore interprets the culture of the Principality and shows it at Expo with an exclusive collection, soon available on the market in unreleased variants.
